There's a version of you six months from now who'll be glad this is already handled. This 3-pack is built for Frigidaire refrigerators calling for the WF2CB (also sold as PWF-2 or 242069601), stripping chlorine, lead, mercury, and a wide range of other contaminants from the water before it reaches your dispenser or ice bin.
Specification
- Product Name: Frigidaire WF2CB Refrigerator Water Filter Replacement, 3 Pack
- Fits Filter Codes: WF2CB, PWF-2, 242069601
- Certification: NSF 42 certified
- Filter Capacity: Rated to roughly 200 gallons per filter
- Recommended Change Interval: Every 6 months
- Filter Media: Coconut shell carbon
- Installation: Twist-in, no tools required
Special Features
- Three Units, One Real Part Number: WF2CB, PWF-2, and 242069601 all trace back to the identical filter, so every unit in this pack matches whichever code your fridge lists.
- Nearly Two Years Off Your Plate: At the standard 6-month interval, this pack pushes your next reorder well into the future.
- Sized to Match the Original: Flow rate and dimensions closely follow the factory WF2CB, making for a straightforward install.
- The Bigger Pack, the Bigger Savings: Buying three together typically brings the per-unit cost below what three separate branded orders would run.
- Coconut Shell Carbon at Work: This media is chosen for cutting chlorine taste, musty odor, and fine sediment out of the water.
- Handles Both Ice and Drinking Water: On most compatible models, the same filtered line feeds the dispenser and the ice maker.
- Doesn't Crowd the Compartment: The slim housing drops into the factory slot without needing extra clearance.
