Installation Instructions

Water Filter

1. Locate the filter housing, usually along the upper right interior wall or tucked behind the base grille.
2. Rotate the old filter a quarter turn counterclockwise to free it from the housing.
3. Pull it out and set it aside.
4. Remove the protective cap from the new filter before installing.
5. Line the new filter up with the housing opening and press it in.
6. Turn clockwise until it locks into place.
7. Run 2 to 3 gallons through the dispenser before drinking to flush out trapped air and loose carbon particles.
8. Reset the water filter indicator light following your Frigidaire refrigerator's manual.

Air Filter

1. Locate the air filter vent, generally set into the back wall or ceiling of the fridge compartment.
2. Open the vent cover and remove the spent filter.
3. Slot the new filter into the housing, matching the orientation of the original.
4. Close the vent cover securely.
5. If your model has one, reset the air filter reminder per your Frigidaire refrigerator's manual.
